We use a “C-arm”, which is a mobile fluoroscopic unit that allows us to see detailed images of your body using an x-ray beam. We’re able to have a real-time view of your body while we perform procedures, so we constantly have the most accurate knowledge of the target areas of treatment. This is especially important with lumbar spinal injections, when we always need to know the precise area to focus on for your pain relief. The unit is safe and our medical team have been trained in the proper use of the equipment.
